The song (“Sleepwalker”) is from Lambert's critically acclaimed CD For Your Entertainment. After a sultry and gritty performance that displayed musical and vocal versatility, Lambert skipped the continent to share the love, and a song or two, with his new-found Aussie friends.

Here’s good news from Best Week Ever! They report: EXCLUSIVE: “VH1s Unplugged” Debuts on March 10 with Adam Lambert! By Michelle Collins (after the pic):
Picture of Monte Pittman and Adam Lambert doing an acoustic "WWFM" for Nova Australian radio Thursday. No word on why the kissable Tommy Joe Ratliff didn't make the Australian trip. Perhaps he was busy with other things. 3-4-10 photo.
Sometimes, requests are made of me here at VH1 that are nearly impossible to grant. One such request was made a couple of weeks ago, when I attended a super-exclusive taping of the premiere of VH1s Unplugged, the award-winning music series that is returning with eight all new episodes for VH1, MTV and CMT.

The performer? None other than Adam Lambert, our most beloved American Idol contestant ever, who had not only planted his sparkle-seed in our earholes from the moment he opened his 24K-gold lips, but had also managed to stick a feather-cork in our heartholes following our two interviews together. (You can see those here and here.)
Image of Adam Lambert's Australian tweets, saying "Thank you Australia for making my album #1 on your iTunes Pop chart! I'm so honored! Looking forward to great week. Mardi Gras Saturday! and "Thank you all for making my first day in Sydney such a wonderful experience! 3-4-10 scanned photo.
Finding out that Adam would be kicking off Unplugged was huge. Finding out that I would be the only member of the press allowed inside was unprecedented.
But learning that I had to wait a little while before I’d be able to talk or blog about the concert was, simply put, torture. I’ve spent the last couple of weeks dabbing my forehead with a white hanky Al Sharpton style with anticipation…
Photo of Lady Gaga on this evening's Friday Nights with Jonathon Ross show in England, where she wore her Living Dress again. Our next post will be all about her, this dress, and a bunch of new outfits she debuted in London recently. 3-5-10 image. UPDATE! 3-9-10. The post is now up. Click here to see more of this amazing creation!
But good news: On March 10… Adam Lambert’s Unplugged will be upon us, the first of eight episodes which will also feature Phoenix (for MTV), The Script (for VH1) and Reba McEntire (for CMT).

And the better news? I CAN FINALLY TALK ABOUT IT. Stay tuned next week for my exclusive recap of VH1s Unplugged: Adam Lambert, featuring fan reactions, recaps of the songs, hilarious behind-the-scenes tidbits, and an interview with the man himself, where we talk about the hard hitting issues. Mainly… hummus. You won’t wanna miss it.

Check out this hot video of Adam Lambert singing “Whataya Want From Me” on So You Think You Can Dance Australia (SYTYCDA)! The man never rests! Maybe he'll get a cockatoo while he's there! 3-3-10.
