We wanted our loyal readers to know that Blogger is having severe server problems with videos, screwing up hundreds of our blog posts. Although it affects thousands of websites, this is particularly upsetting to us, as we have uploaded a lot of videos through Blogger to insure they would remain intact, as so many clips on YouTube get deleted due to so-called copyright issues, fair use laws notwithstanding.
The following “Blogger Status” announcement appeared late last night from Blogger.com: “Users are experiencing problems playing videos in Blogger blogs. We are investigating and will send an update when fixed.”
Picture from tomorrow's post: Adam Lambert performing his new song, "If I Had You," which you can watch at the base of this page as a tease of what's to come. Due to our spending so much time dealing with Blogger issues, we are running a little behind, but trust us, the post is definitely worth waiting for, as it will have lots of great videos (of the non-Blogger ilk) and a ton of brand new photos of the proud gay Glam God!
Wouldn’t you know this would happen right after we publish a post with “INTACT VIDEOS” in the title, i.e. yesterday’s LADY GAGA ON OPRAH! 50 SPIKY HAIR PHOTOS! 23 INTACT VIDEOS! GAGA TO PERFORM at 2010 BRIT AWARDS! 2009 BRIT AWARDS VIDEO! POSTPONES GAY EQUALITY GIG!
Photo of Larry Platt auditioning on American Idol. Although the "General" is too old to be an actual American Idol candidate, they let him perform "Pants on the Ground," because they know a catchy tune when they hear it! 1-13-10 picture.
We are placing YouTube videos above our Blogger videos in yesterday’s Gaga article until this problem is fixed. Please be aware the YouTube videos may be blocked/deleted at any time by Harpo Productions. I can’t do this for older posts, as we have way too many Blogger videos to deal with all at once and most of the YouTube counterparts have been blocked, so they are no longer available via alternative sources. We apologize for this inconvenience!
UPDATE! 1-21-10. Blogger videos seem to finally be working again (after a day and a half), although you'd never know it from their Blogger Status Website, where there is no mention of a fix yet. Thank you all for your patience!

Currently we're working on a post about Adam Lambert’s Tuesday Oprah appearance. We are rarely the first to post an item, but we are certainly the most comprehensive, as we like to accompany our videos with lots of photos and more in-depth information than most blogs.
Photo of General Larry Platt performing "Pants on the Ground," the song he wrote after seeing a guy on the street who lost his trousers, as he explains in The View video at the base of this post. 1-18-10 image.
Our first video today represents a preview of tomorrow’s ADAM LAMBERT ON OPRAH article, wherein we will publish Adam’s complete interview by Oprah and his performance of “Whataya Want From Me,” complete with about a dozen Adam Lambert videos and a ton of hot new pictures, most from the Oprah show.

To tide you over, just for fun, we bring you video from Monday’s episode of The View, with American Idol 2010 contestant General Larry Platt singing his original song, “Pants on the Ground.” He also raps with the ladies of The View about American Idol on a day which just happens to be Martin Luther King Jr Day, a fitting coincidence, as Platt was actually a protege of MLK.
Larry earned his nickname, "General," during the '60s Civil Rights Movement when he was 16. In 2001, Larry was honored with his own Atlanta holiday—Larry Platt Day, September 4— for his "priceless and immeasurable contributions to society" and "his great energy and commitment to equality and the protection of the innocent and for his outstanding service to the Atlanta community and the citizens of Georgia." The man surely deserves all the attention he’s been getting lately.

We also have the original January 13th American Idol clip that started the whole “Larry Platt phenomenon.” Since that amazing performance, Larry has gained thousands of fans. Click here to become a Larry Platt fan on Facebook!
Picture of Jimmy Fallon channeling Neil Young who in turn channels Larry Platt on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, a day after Larry Platt's show-stopping performance on American Idol. Watch Jimmy sing "Pants on the Ground" in the official NBC video clip at the bottom of this page. It's pretty awesome! 1-14-10 photo.
Plus, we bring you an amazing clip from Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, wherein Jimmy impersonates Neil Young singing “Pants on the Ground.” Fallon is a highly talented individual who deserves a lot more credit than he gets. He should be the one who hosts the Tonight Show, instead of being relegated to the wee hours of the morning when few people watch.
