No man is better looking than actor Blair Underwood, fully clothed or bare-chested. Whether playing Christine’s love interest on The New Adventures of Old Christine, millionaire Simon Elder in Dirty Sexy Money, or troubled Alex in HBO’s In Treatment, he always causes the hearts of straight women and gay men to start racing.

Jay Leno on the Tonight show: “Playboy is for sale. They’re asking $300 million. It comes complete with three blondes who pretend they love you.”
Speaking of Jay Leno, lesbian icon Wanda Sykes made an appearance on the Tonight show yesterdat. Hilarious, as usual, she made jokes about the twins her wife recently gave birth to, with special emphasis on all the work they entail. “I told Alex, if you ever catch me in bed with another woman, you know I’m just there for a nap, catching some shuteye.”

Another funny “lady,” Australia’s premier drag queen, Dame Edna, a.k.a. Barry Humphries, showed up on the Tonight show as well, to publicize her gig, “Dame Edna’s First Last Tour,” at the Ahmanson Theatre in LA June 9-21, 2009, plus a few other times and places. Find the complete schedule on her official website.

“The widely-loved international homemaker, talk show host, gigastar, fashion icon, swami and most sought-after friend to the rich, famous and royal, is making a return to the theater. For more than four decades, Dame Edna has dazzled audiences the world over with her one-of-a-kind banter, infinite wisdom and fabulous beauty tips. Treat yourself to an evening with the most popular and gifted woman on the globe today!” Those are her words! She warns this may be her last appearance, as she’s older than God. The comedian had a lot of funny lines last night, including this one: “The Queen of England has a wonderful sense of humor, although it doesn’t come across on the coins.”

Although gay money maven Suze Orman launched her new book, Suze Orman's 2009 Action Plan, in January on Oprah, you’ll still find a free chapter excerpt on Oprah’s website. It’s filled with great tips, mostly common sense, which is something a lot of Americans seem to have lost lately. You can by the book here on Amazon.com for only $9.99.
Orman has been called "a force in the world of personal finance" and a "one-woman financial advice powerhouse" by USA Today and was named one of the Time 100, the most influential people in the world, by Time magazine in 2008.
A two-time Emmy-winning television host, New York Times mega best-selling author, magazine and online columnist, writer/producer and one of the top motivational speakers in the world today, Suze is undeniably America's most recognized expert on personal finance.
On October 9, 2008, Orman received the HRC (Human Rights Campaign) National Equality Award. She has been fighting for GLBT equality throughout her career, as far back as 1980 when she got Merrill Lynch to change their awards invitations from "spouse" to "significant other." Most recently, she was instrumental in prompting the FDIC to change its insurance policies so that all individuals are treated equally. In her award acceptance speech, Suze said that until all relationships are treated equally at the federal level, "we have nothing." She also received a standing ovation when she declared, "I don’t want to be a lesbian who is tolerated."

After accepting the award, she brought out the "most vital person in (her) life," partner, Kathy "K.T." Travis, about whom she said, “We're going on seven years. We’d like to get married and it's killing me that upon my death, Kathy is going to lose 50 percent of everything I have to estate taxes. Or vice versa." Orman and Travis have rarely made public appearances together. Check out Suze’s two TV programs: CNBC’s The Suze Orman Show and Suze Orman's Financial Freedom on QVC.
