ANOTHER REPUBLICAN "FAMILY VALUES" HYPOCRITE RESIGNS! MISTRESS HEIDI BARSUGLIA PHOTOS, VIDEO!

Ever notice how secret sinners always pray the loudest? Vocal anti-gay conservative Orange County California Assemblyman Michael Duvall, who believes homosexuality is an illness, stepped down from his elected office today in disgrace, after he was caught on open mic bragging about having raunchy sex with two women, one of them a registered lobbyist.

The Republican law-maker, who is from Yorba Linda, the home town of Richard Nixon, the King of Republican hypocrites, has long been an outspoken opponent of gay rights. He supported Proposition 8 and often railed against immorality on the Assembly floor.

On the tape, captured by Los Angeles CBS affiliate KCAL TV, Assemblyman Michael Duvall was overheard saying:

“She wears little eye-patch underwear. So, the other day she came here with her underwear, Thursday. And so, we had made love Wednesday—a lot! And so she'll, she's all, 'I am going 
up and down the stairs, and you're dripping out of me!' So messy!”

“So, I am getting into spanking her. Yeah, I like it. I like spanking her. She goes, 'I know you like spanking me.' I said, 'Yeah! Because you're such a bad girl!'”

“And so her birthday was Monday. I was 54 on June 14, so for a month, she was 19 years younger than 
me. I said, 'Now, you're getting old. I am going to have to trade you in.' And she goes, '[I'm] 36.' She is 18 years younger than me. And so I keep teasing her, and she goes, 'I know you French men. You divide your age by two and add seven, and if you're older than that, you dump us.”

Not only does he like to cheat on his wife and two children, he apparently prefers not to use protection, as well. That he brags about it is even more disgusting! KCAL noted in their report that he often boasts about his sexual prowess and his colleagues always found it difficult to shut him up.

The Los Angeles Gay & Lesbian Center’s Chief Executive Officer, Lorri L. Jean, just issued the following statement, regarding reports of California Assembly member Michael Duvall's extra-marital affairs and his resignation statement:

"Even as he resigns in shame, former California Assembly member Michael Duvall is wallowing in hypocrisy. While engaging in extra-marital affairs, he used 'family values' as a justification to vote against every bill that would have provided any measure of equal treatment or fairness to LGBT people. He used the same justification to support taking away the lawful right of same-sex couples to marry."

"Now he has the temerity to protest that his adultery (with lobbyists) 'is a private matter' and asks that 'everyone respect the privacy of all involved?!'"

"People should respect his privacy when he never respected the privacy of loving same-sex couples? We should respect his privacy even though HE is reported to have bragged to colleagues about his sexual exploits? And by the way, where was their outrage? How many 'family values' conservatives knew what their brother was up to, voyeuristically listening to his stories but never speaking out against him or his behavior? How deep is the bench of 'family values' conservaties who are similarly engaged?"

"It's Duvall's hypocrisy regarding his infidelity that makes him so especially despicable. He joins a long line of equally discredited, anti-gay 'family values' conservatives like evangelical U.S. Senators David Vitter and John Ensign, and South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford. At least Duvall had a modicum of decency and resigned, while those of the Vitter/Ensign/Sanford ilk brazenly continue on, still embraced by their 'family values' colleagues."

"'Family values' has become a code word for more than abject anti-gay bigotry; it's now a sham to divert attention from the real behavior of those protesting to be such devoted family men. Duvall and his brethren should focus on their own ranks, rather than attacking LGBT people and trying to prevent loving same-sex couples from marrying."

Even an anti-gay group that once praised the former California Assemblyman has denounced the lawmaker, the Los Angeles Times reports. The Capitol Resource Institute (CRI), a conservative lobby group, which had graded Duvall 100% for “time and time again voting to protect and preserve family values in California,” had this to say: “It is always disappointing when a champion of traditional values does not practice the same in his private life,” said Karen England, executive director of CRI. “And this appears to be the case with Assemblyman Duvall.”

One of the women with whom Duvall had a sordid affair has been identified as registered California lobbyist Heidi Dejong Barsuglia, although she issued a declaration today denying having had sex with Duvall. However, Sempra Energy, where Barsuglia works, just released the following statement: “Sempra Energy takes very seriously any reports involving the conduct of our employees. We are investigating this matter and the recent media reports that named one of our employees. The employee has denied the speculative media reports. Our investigation will be conducted to ensure not only that our policies on employee conduct are strictly adhered to, but also that our employee is treated fairly.”

Heidi Dejong Barsuglia, 36-year-old married lobbyist, represents utility companies and until yesterday, Michael Duvall was vice chairman of the Assembly Utilities and Commerce Committee. California Assembly Speaker Karen Bass removed Duvall from two committees and launched an ethics panel to investigate the allegations involving conflict of interest. The Speaker’s actions were the main reasons Duvall tendered his resignation, not because he got caught being a hypocrite. In fact, he now says the lascivious talk was nothing but "tall tales," and none of it really happened. Even if that were true, which we doubt, how is making up stories about cheating on your wife admirable? It's not, especially when you're a "family values" politician.
