Adam Lambert officially came out today, saying, “I glue rhinestones on my eyelids, bitch!” among other things, even though most people agree he never lived in a closet. In any case, he now graces the cover of Rolling Stone magazine, wherein he bares his soul. When asked why he waited so long, he said, "I'm trying to be a singer, not a civil rights leader."

Best Week Ever.tv’s headline yesterday: “Rolling Stone Reveals Adam Lambert is Gay; Ladies With Zero Gaydar on Suicide Watch!” Adam noted in the article that he adores his female fans and even though he doesn’t “stick it in,” he can still appreciate the beauty of women.

“I'm proud of my sexuality,” Adam told the magazine. “I embrace it. It's just another part of me. I was worried that coming out on Idol would be so sensationalized that it would overshadow what I was there to do, which was sing. I'm an entertainer, and who I am and what I do in my personal life is a separate thing. It shouldn't matter. Except it does. It's really confusing.”

Adam said he’s always incorporated his gay persona into his entertainment. "I realized that we all have our own power, and that whatever I wanted to do, I had to make happen. I was like, I’m going to glue rhinestones on my eyelids, bitch!"

Check out the pictures of the 24 year-old guy Adam Lambert is currently dating, interior designer Drake LaBry. They make one hot couple! Maybe they’ll make a porno! Just kidding. Or not. Note: The photos of Drake have been incorrectly labeled by several websites and paparazzi as that of singer Brad Bell, who is actually a former boyfriend of Adam (pre-Idol).
