A superstar in England, John Barrowman is an openly gay actor, singer, dancer, and reality show judge who can occasionally be
a bit randy (link to an article about when he joked about exposing himself on live radio Dec. 2008).

After spending some time in Los Angeles chasing movie and TV roles, in 1998 he made it to the final three actors casting for the role of Will in Will & Grace. When he didn't get the part, he demanded an explanation and found he had been rejected as "not gay enough." Funny, huh? Here’s a link to his own official
website.

He and long time lover, architect Scott Gill, were joined in a civil partnership (a commitment ceremony in the UK which gives gay couples the same rights as straights) at a ceremony in Cardiff Bay, Wales December 27, 2006.

Born in Glasgow Scotland. Barrowman and his partner have homes in London and Wales. John plays immortal bisexual Captain Jack Harkness on two television series, Doctor Who and Torchwood.

His very own Saturday night variety show, Tonight's The Night, debuted April 18, 2009 and ended May 23, 2009 on BBC1 in the UK. From what I can tell, it was a huge success.

Good News for Barrowman fans! Now live via the
BBC America website, the new Torchwood: “Children of Earth” trailer shows a novel way to quiet down troublesome children as an alien race freezes them across the globe.

“Children of Earth” will premiere on BBC1 and BBC America this July as a week-long, five-night mini-series. Watch the just released official video trailer below:

BBC America also announced May 28, 2009 that it will air five new specials from Doctor Who later this year. "The Next Doctor," featuring David Morrissey and Dervla Kirwan, which appeared at Christmas time last year in Britain, will premiere Saturday, June 27. It will be followed in July by "Doctor Who: Planet of the Dead." The final three specials, the last to include 10th Time Lord played by David Tennant, will air later in 2009 and early 2010.

Rumors abound that Susan Boyle has suffered an emotional breakdown and has been admitted to a private clinic for “exhaustion.” A Britain’s Got Talent producer would only say she was taking time off for “rest and recovery.” I can only imagine the stress she is enduring.

You're right. I apologize for the error. Although there was a webcam on, nobody could see anything. I've edited the post. Thanks for your insight.--Gale
